Borak-Borak Czech 2009

Each year thousands of Malaysian students are sent abroad to further their studies. Besides working hard to obtain qualifications in a foreign country, they too face challenges beyond their expectations which in turn helped them learn more about life in the country they are bound to and eventually, these will influence their decision-making and priorities.

Being the pioneer for the group of students studying in non-English speaking country such as the Czech Republic, there is no doubt that it was a challenge for us to adapt to our surrounding. Although much information can be gathered on the internet about the culture and people of the Czech Republic, nothing beats first-hand experience and that is what we have in store for upcoming juniors in the pre-departure program, Borak-borak Czech 2009. We believe that it is best for the juniors to be well-prepared of what lies ahead of them, here in the Czech Republic.

In reaching our aim, we present Borak-Borak Czech, a pre-departure program (a continuation of Borak-borak Czech 2008) which will involve presentations and discussions, presented by seniors (from each locality, Prague, Hradec Kralove, Olomouc) whom will share their experience studying and living in the Czech Republic. Borak-borak Czech will also be a form of gateway to create and strengthen interrelationship between the juniors, seniors and parents alike.
